My guest today is once again, J. Marvin Pratt. We were at the top of West Mountain in Utah County, Utah. We did a little spin off Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee as we descended on a rough dirt road so enjoy, the road noise, rattling and panting dog.

One year ago, 16 year-old Chaicee Hendren was a typical American teen-ager. Rebellious for rebellion's sake. A little too interested in boys for her parents comfort. Addicted to her cell phone. A class act, sweet, kind pain in the butt. A diagnosis of B cell Acute Lymphocytic leukemia started her on a path that changed her life...in so many ways, for the better. Sit back while Chaicee and her father Josh Hendren take us on their journey. For questions, comments, advice or just a simple listening ear, Chaicee can be contacted via Instagram at @chaicee_danielle or Facebook at @ChaiceeD

Our guest today is, real life Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, newly elected California State Senator Brian Dahle. The good Senator talks about his journey into California politics and why he does it. We discuss the challenges and joys of having a platform to make real and lasting change in northeastern California. Dahle, with his wife Megan and their three children own and operate their own business in Lassen County called Big Valley Seed Company. He knows how to represent his constituents as he is one of them. Dahle talks about how he gets things done by being willing to treat his political opponents as friends instead of enemies. Not an easy task in the toxic and divided political climate that engulfs our country. A little small town goodness goes a long way towards real progress.
