Episode 41: Jeremy Brockbank | With integrity, the ants go marching. Hoorah!
Saturday Nov 02, 2019
Saturday Nov 02, 2019
Today I sat down with Jeremy Brockbank, CEO of Ant Hill Retail. Considered one of the most influential players in US retail, he and his wife/business partner Jen, not only have built hundreds of brands but have also built the 'Fastest Growing' brand on the Inc 5000 and holds multiple 'Shark Tank' records. Jeremy has also consulted for Point 72 Private Equity (2016-2017) as well as was an Adjunct Business Professor at Utah Valley University (2015). While this is an impressive resumé of accomplishments, the real value in this conversation is talking about the how and why behind their successes and how absolute integrity is the key ingredient.

All forms of healing have their place. All our journeys are different yet similar. Episode 39: Josiah Roueche | Kidnapped by Train
Tuesday Oct 29, 2019
Tuesday Oct 29, 2019
My guest today is Josiah Roueche. 35 year-old married father of 4. In 2007, only ten weeks into his new marriage, while riding the train home from work in a Dallas suburb he befriended a man and struck up a casual conversation. Thinking nothing of it, he said goodbye and headed to his car at his designated stop. The next six hours would prove to be the most harrowing of his, what he thought would be, short life. Hang on to your seat because Hollywood can't write this stuff.

My guest today is Phil Child. He is currently majoring in social work at Utah Valley University and director of the A capella group, Voiceline. Phil is originally from Jamaica Queens, New York. When he was 11 years old he and his family moved to Terre Haute, Indiana for the next 13 years until his move to Utah 6 years ago. He works at a treatment center for struggling teen boys in Orem Utah. I've invited Phil to the show today to talk about whether or not America is systemically racist, a statement I've heard many times for many years. He is black, living in predominantely white Utah. Lets dive into the mind and thoughts of this great man.
