He works at a treatment center for struggling teen boys in Orem Utah. I've invited Phil to the show today to talk about whether or not America is systemically racist, a statement I've heard many times for many years. He is black, living in predominantely white Utah. Lets dive into the mind and thoughts of this great man.

Taught to work hard, work a little harder and help those around him and after helping his family with the cows he decided to volunteer with his local rural fire department to help the humans. Thus began his long journey in the medical field as a volunteer EMT/firefighter, paramedic with local hospitals in Shasta County. Now as a flight medic with PHI Air Medical, Tom shares with us his experiences helping others in life and death situations and how it has molded him into the man he is today.
