My guest for the second time is one of the greatest Americans I know, only he is Irish. He has been a tireless cheerleader for the ideals and constitutional foundations that have made this country the shining city on the hill in spite of our flaws. He was living a colorblind life until a trip to New Orleans with some dear friends revealed an ugly part of our nation. A part that has come a long way but still needs healing. Eight years ago Steve and Jolene Randall lost their 17 year-old son Jake to an accidental heroin overdose. We take a deep dive into the despair, the hope and healing in the wake of burying a child while continuing to nurture and care for the ones left behind.
